Scope of application
The GTC apply to all services provided by Canis Major. The deliveries, services and offers of Canis Major are exclusively based on these GTC, even if they are not expressly agreed upon again. By sending an order, the customer agrees to the GTC.

Conclusion of a contract
All information about goods and prices within the order process are non-binding. Purchase contracts are concluded by acceptance of an order by Canis Major. The acceptance of the order will be confirmed to the buyer by Canis Major via e-mail and is subsequently binding.
If it becomes apparent after the conclusion of the contract that the ordered products cannot be delivered or cannot be delivered in full, Canis Major is entitled to withdraw from the entire contract or from a part of the contract. If Canis Major has already received payment from the customer, the payment will be refunded to the customer. If no payment has been made yet, the customer will be released from the obligation to pay. Canis Major is not obligated to make a replacement delivery in the event of a contract cancellation.

Prices
As a small business Canis Major is exempt from value added tax. The prices therefore do not include any VAT. Shipping costs are displayed in the shopping cart before the order is completed. Canis Major has the express right to adjust the prices shown online at any time without notice and without further explanation. Delivery
Dates and delivery periods are not binding, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. Since all products are handmade, our stock is limited. . Almost all products are made especially for the buyer. Delivery times of up to four weeks or 30 working days are possible. Canis Major delivers as soon as possible and informs the customer of any delays.
If the customer does not provide the correct address, the return shipping costs charged by the post office must be paid by the customer.
If an article of the assortment is not available, the customer will be informed by e-mail as soon as possible.

Terms of payment
The following payment methods are available:

When purchasing in advance, the invoiced amount must be paid to the account indicated in the invoice no later than the due date indicated on the invoice form (usually seven days). ). If the customer does not meet his payment obligation, the order will be cancelled.

Retention of title
We retain ownership of our products until the invoice amount has been paid in full.

Customs fees
For deliveries abroad, customs fees may apply. We are legally obligated to indicate the correct goods / order value on the customs declaration. . If customs fees are incurred, they are to be paid by the customer. For further information please contact your local customs office.

Guarantee and warranty
One year on carabiners and fasteners on Canis Major’s own manufactured items.
The warranty is valid from the date of delivery. Defective goods must be reported in writing within seven working days of receipt of delivery, otherwise the warranty claim will be forfeited. In the case of improper use or normal wear and tear, there is no warranty claim.

Returns
In Switzerland there is basically no legal right of return.
Our products are all individualized as unique pieces according to the customer’s wishes. They are therefore excluded from exchange. Since they are handmade, it is possible that color and / or shape may vary slightly. Canis Major cannot be held responsible for such modifications.
The customer is advised to check the goods upon receipt for any defects and report them within seven working days. Otherwise the delivery will be considered as accepted.
Canis Major does not allow the right of return for errors made by the customer when placing the order (e.g. wrong size), as these are individualized and custom-made products. Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer. By accepting the terms and conditions, the customer automatically agrees to the return policy.

Care / Handling
Canis Major assumes no liability for the customer’s misconduct in the care and / or handling of the delivered items.

Privacy
Canis Major undertakes to process customer data carefully and to observe the provisions of the relevant data protection legislation. In particular, no data will be disclosed to third parties. However, no liability can be accepted for the security of data transmitted via the Internet.

Disclaimer
Liability for indirect and consequential damages resulting from the use, malfunction or performance failure of Canis Major products is excluded.

Modification of GTC
Canis Major reserves the right to unilaterally amend these GTC at any time without prior notice.

Applicable Law / Court of Jurisdiction
In any case, the relationship between Customer and Canis Major is governed by Swiss law according to the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB). The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
